Rekeying and lock changes in Bentleigh East
Whether the house is from 1958 or last year, rekeying the cylinders you already have is faster and cheaper than replacing hardware that works.
What this looks like on the day
Bentleigh East is a mix of original 1950s and 60s homes and a steady wave of knock-down rebuilds. Half a street may be on modern multipoint locking while the other half is still on a worn single deadlock, so we carry parts for both rather than guessing from the address.
- Existing hardware kept wherever it is sound
- Anything the last owner handed out stops working
- Front, rear and garage keyed alike
What happens when you call
A window, not a guess
The arrival time comes from where the van is. If it slips you get a call.
The quote includes after hours
One figure on the phone, the same at the door and on the invoice. No callout fee on top.
Right tools for your era of lock
We ask what the door looks like when you ring, so the van arrives with parts that fit your house rather than the average one.
One person start to finish
Whoever answers drives out. No call centre in between.
Other things we do in Bentleigh East
House lockouts
On one side of a Bentleigh East street it is a fifty-year-old deadlatch and on the other a brand new multipoint. We carry parts for both rather than guessing from the address.

Car lockouts
Locked out in the Centre Road shops car park or on a driveway off East Boundary Road. Opened where it stands with automotive tools.

Lost keys
Original keys on the older homes are worn thin, and the rebuilds run euro cylinders that need the right blank. We cut for both properly.

Break-in repairs
On the older homes the timber gives; on the rebuilds the glass does. We secure it tonight either way and are honest about what needs a glazier rather than us.

Security upgrades
The older half of the street usually needs a second lock on the front and something real on the back slider. The newer half usually needs the sliding door sorted.
